GENERAL PRIZE PROMOTION TERMS & CONDITIONS

BIRRA MORETTI Digital Hub: Birra Moretti Christmas Jumper Competition 2024

These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by entering this promotion all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

The personal data provided by entrants will only be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting the promotion and at all times in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy (available at https://heineken.co.uk/legal-hub/?article=privacy-policy). From time to time, the Promoter may share entrants’ personal data with their agents/representatives to assist with administering the promotion and contacting entrants (as necessary) and/or fulfilling the prize(s).


1. Only open to residents in the UK and Channel Islands and Isle of Man aged 18 or over, excluding employees of any company in the Heineken group and any person whom, in the Promoter’s reasonable opinion, should be excluded due to their involvement or connection with this promotion.

2. To take part in the promotion, participants should scan the QR code shown on POS items in a participating pub or bar or go to www.birramoretti.com/gb/en/christmasjumper24 and input their first name, last name, email address and telephone number. Entry is limited to one per person per day. Your standard network rates apply.

3. Entries must be made personally. Entries made through agents/third parties, bulk entries or automated entries are invalid. No entries submitted via any other means will be accepted. The promoter cannot guarantee uninterrupted or secure access to the web entry route. Any mechanical reproduction or automated entries is prohibited, and any use of such automated devices will cause disqualification. The promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, damaged, incomplete, illegible or delayed entries, such entries will be void. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt and promoter does not accept any responsibility for the non receipt or the late receipt of entry due to operator or network failure or for any associated costs to entrants.

4. No purchase necessary to enter.

5. Participants will be able to enter between 16:00 11/11/2024 until 16:00 13/12/2024.

6. There are 600 Birra Moretti branded Christmas jumpers to be won. Sizes will be subject to availability at the time of the prize being claimed. Jumpers are made of 100% Acrylic.

7. Winners will be the first 120 entries selected at random from all valid entries on the relevant draw dates set out below. The prize draws will be conducted by an independent adjudicator and prizes will be allocated at random. The judge’s decision is final. No person can win more than one prize.
Winner selection will take place from 18th November 2024 to 13th December 2024.
- Prize draw 1: 18th November 2024 for all entries between 16:00 11.11.24 to 23:59 17th November 2024
- Prize draw 2: 25th November 2024 for all entries between 00:00 18 November 2024 and 23:59 24 November 2024
- Prize draw 3: 2nd December 2024 for all entries between 00:00 25 November 2024 and 23:59 1 December 2024
- Prize draw 4: 9th December 2024 for all entries between 00:00 2 December 2024 and 23:59 8 December 2024
- Prize draw 5: 16th December 2024 for all entries between 00:00 9 December 2024 and 16:00 13 December 2024.
- Mop-up draw: 2nd January 2025

8. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries and the winners and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw a prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means. The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any decisions, and these will be binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.

9. The winners will be notified no later than 1 week after the relevant prize draw. The winners will be notified via telephone to the phone number with which the entry was made or via email to the email address with which the entry was made. If any winner cannot be contacted or does not reply within 7 days to accept their prize, the Promoter reserves the right to re-draw and select a new winner at random from all valid entries in the same prize pool. Any unclaimed or returned prizes will be entered into a final mop up draw on 2 January 2025 and winners will be notified using the same process set out above.

10. The winners have 7 days, starting on the day they accept their prize to provide their full name and any required address details to fulfil their prize.

11. The prize will be dispatched to winners within 28 days of acknowledgment of the notification. Prizes will be dispatched by registered post and a signature may be required. Prizes returned undelivered are assumed unwanted and an alternative winner will be drawn from the relevant prize pool using the same methodology as state above. The process will repeat until an eligible winner is able to claim the prize.

12. Winners’ details (first names and county only) will be available for 3 months from 17th January 2025 by sending a Stamped Addressed Envelope to BIRRA MORETTI CHRISTMAS JUMPER 2024, Mesh Marketing, 16 Laystall St, London, EC1R 4PF. By entering, the winners consent to such information being disclosed upon request.

13. There is no cash or other alternative to these prizes in whole or in part. Prizes are not transferable or refundable.

14. The decision of the promoter in all matters is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

15. The promoter is not responsible for any third-party acts or omissions.

16. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend this promotion due to events or circumstances arising beyond its control.

17. All conditions, warranties and representations expressed or implied by law or otherwise in connection with the prize are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law and the promoter shall be under no liability whatsoever or however in connection with any loss, damage or injury suffered as a direct result of the provision of the prize.

18. All taxes (including without limitation national & local taxes) in connection with any prize & the reporting consequence thereof, are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.

19. These rules and any dispute or difference arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. The Promoter and each entrant irrevocably agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales over any claim or matter arising under or in connection with these rules or the legal relationships established by this agreement.
