GENERAL PRIZE PROMOTION TERMS & CONDITIONS
BIRRA MORETTI Digital Hub: Birra Moretti UK Getaway Prize 2023
These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by entering this promotion all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.
The personal data provided by entrants will only be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting the promotion and at all times in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy (available at https://heineken.co.uk/legal-hub/?article=privacy-policy or https://www.birramoretti.com/gb/en/privacy-policy). From time to time, the Promoter may share entrants’ personal data with their agents/representatives to assist with administering the promotion and contacting entrants (as necessary) and/or fulfilling the prize(s).
1. Only open to residents in the UK and Channel Islands and Isle of Man aged 18 or over, excluding employees of any company in the Heineken group and any person whom, in the Promoter’s reasonable opinion, should be excluded due to their involvement or connection with this promotion.
2. To take part in the promotion, participants should go to https://www.birramoretti.com/gb/en/monthly and input their first name, last name and email address. Entry is limited to one per person per day. Subject to availability.
3. Entries must be made personally. Entries made through agents/third parties, bulk entries or automated entries are invalid. No entries submitted via any other means will be accepted. The promoter cannot guarantee uninterrupted or secure access to the web entry route. Any mechanical reproduction or automated entries is prohibited, and any use of such automated devices will cause disqualification.
4. No purchase necessary to enter. Visit www.birramoretti.com/gb/en/win/monthly and input first name, last name and email address to enter. One entry per person per day.
5. Participants will be able to enter between 16:00 06/01/2023 until 16:00 31/01/2023.
6. There is one prize of a trip to the Lake District available for four (4) people travelling together, all members of the party must be aged 18 or over.
7. The prize is a Three (3) nights stay at the 3 bedroom Luna cottage in Penrith, Cumbria.
8. The prize is available until December 18th 2023 excluding bank holidays and during July, August and September. All travel must be completed by 18th December 2023.
9. Travel will be subject to cottage availability at the date of booking the trip. The winner should notify the Promoter at least six weeks in advance of his/her preferred dates for taking the trip.
10. All travel must be completed within the time-frame stated within the competition. Extensions to the validity of the prize will not be allowed unless first authorised by the promotional agent.
11. The winner will be given a £400 travel allowance (£100 per person). All other costs and expenses in taking up the prize not set out in the stated prize description will be at the winner’s expense, these include but are not limited to meals, drinks, spending money, gratuities.
12. The Promoter or Cloud Nine will accept no responsibility for cottages / companies etc. being withdrawn or amended. In the event of this, Cloud Nine will endeavour to offer a suitable alternative.
13. All travel arrangements offered are at the discretion of Cloud Nine and the promoter.
14. Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier.
15. There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize.
16. For the avoidance of doubt, the prize does not include travel gratuities, meals or other travel expenses unless otherwise stated, or any other costs of a personal nature not stated for winner and guest.
17. If fulfilment or any element of this promotion is delayed or affected due to Covid-19 and resulting Government restrictions, all entrants affected will be contacted by the Promoter and kept updated of any unavoidable changes to the promotional dates, revised fulfilment dates or prizes.

19. The Judge’s decision is final. The winner will be the first entry drawn at random from all qualifying entries by an independent judge on or before 09/01/2023. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries and the winner and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw a prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means. The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any decisions, and these will be binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
20. The prize draw winner will be announced on or before 07/02/2023. The winner will be notified on or before 14/02/2023. The winner will be notified via email to the email address with which the entry was made. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not reply within 7 days to accept their prize, the Promoter reserves the right to re-draw and select a new winner at random from all valid entries (and so on until a winner can be contacted who will take up the prize).
21. The winner will have 7 days, starting on the day they accept their prize to provide their full name and any required details to fulfil their prize.
22. Winners’ details (first names and county only) will be available for 3 months from 09.01.23 by sending a Stamped Addressed Envelope to BIRRA MORETTI JANUARY UK GETAWAY WINNER, Mesh Marketing, 16 Laystall St, London, EC1R 4PF. By entering, the winner consents to such information being disclosed upon request.
23. There is no cash or other alternative to these prizes in whole or in part. Prizes are not transferable or refundable. The Promoter reserves the right to reclaim the prize if it is transferred.
24. The decision of the promoter in all matters is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
25. The promoter is not responsible for any third-party acts or omissions.
26. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend this promotion due to events or circumstances arising beyond its control.
27. All conditions, warranties and representations expressed or implied by law or otherwise in connection with the prize are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law and the promoter shall be under no liability whatsoever or however in connection with any loss, damage or injury suffered as a direct result of the provision of the prize.
28. All taxes (including without limitation national & local taxes) in connection with any prize & the reporting consequence thereof, are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.
29. These rules and any dispute or difference arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. The Promoter and each entrant irrevocably agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales over any claim or matter arising under or in connection with these rules or the legal relationships established by this agreement.
