WAITROSE SCAN TO WIN TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by entering this promotion all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

The personal data provided by entrants will only be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting the promotion and at all times in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy (available at www.heineken.co.uk/legal-hub/heineken-brands-privacy-policy). From time to time, the Promoter may share entrants’ personal data with their agents/representatives to assist with administering the promotion and contacting entrants (as necessary) and/or fulfilling the prize(s).

 

1. Only open to residents in the UK aged 18 or over, excluding employees of Heineken and Waitrose and any company in the Heineken group and any person whom, in the Promoter’s reasonable opinion, should be excluded due to their involvement or connection with this promotion.

 

2. Entry is open between 00.01 on 27th May 2026 and 23:59 on 23rd June 2026 (the “Promotion Period”).

 

3. How to take part:

a) Purchase any of the following products in participating Waitrose stores:

b) Scan QR code on point-of-sale materials in participating Waitrose stores. Selected stores only.
c) Enter your first name, last name, email address and phone number. Confirm purchase of qualifying product by ticking the box.
d) Confirm your acceptance of the promotion terms and conditions.

 

4. Standard network rates apply. Maximum of 1 entry is permitted per person per day during the Promotion Period. Service is at the discretion of Waitrose staff. Licensing restrictions apply.

 

5. Entries must be made personally. Entries made through agents/third parties, bulk entries or automated entries are invalid. No multiple entries from a single IP address in excess of the restriction in Term 3 will be valid. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt and Promoter does not accept any responsibility for the non-receipt or the late receipt of entry due to network failure or for any associated costs to entrants. No entries submitted via any other means will be accepted. The Promoter does not guarantee uninterrupted or secure access to the web entry system. Any mechanical reproduction or automated entries is prohibited, and any use of such automated devices will cause disqualification.

 

6. There are 100 prizes to be won. Each prize consists of : 
• 1 x Crosta Mollica 170g box of Fennel Seed Tarallini;
• 1 x Crosta Mollica 120g box of Classic Torinesi Breadsticks;
• 1 x Crosta Mollica 140g box of Black Olive Grissini Breadsticks;
• 2 x Birra Moretti Pint Glasses;
• 1 x Birra Moretti L’Autentica 4x330ml;
• 1 x Birra Moretti Sale di Mare 4x330ml;
• 1 x Birra Moretti Zero 4x330ml; and
• 1 x £30 Waitrose gift voucher

 

7. Winners will be the first 100 valid entries drawn at random by an independent judge from all qualifying entries. Winners will be contacted by email or phone within 3 working days of the draw date on [24/06/2026]. If any winner does not respond within 10 working days, the Promoter will conduct a maximum of one mop-up draw and select alternative winners from the remaining valid entries. The same notification and response timelines will apply to the mop-up draw. The mop-up draw will be conducted on [14/07/26].

 

8. Each winner will be contacted by Birra Moretti’s prize fulfilment agency: Birramoretti@mihhandling.co.uk to verify their win. The delivery of the prize will be arranged by email between the Promoter’s prize fulfilment agency (MIH Handling) and the winner. The winner must provide age verification upon delivery. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse delivery if satisfactory age verification is not provided.

 

9. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries and to refuse to honour a prize and/or refuse further participation and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of entry. The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any decisions and these will be binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

10. Winners’ details (surname and county only) will be available from [03/08/2026—03/11/2026] by contacting Birramoretti@mihhandling.co.uk. By entering, the winner consents to such information being disclosed unless they state otherwise. Any entrant may object to their information being made available in this way or may request that the amount of information made available be reduced, by contacting the Promoter using the contact details at the start of these terms and conditions. In these circumstances, the entrant acknowledges that the Promoter may nevertheless disclose the relevant information, and the entrant’s entry, to the Advertising Standards Authority (and/or any other competent authority) if required to do so. By way of example, this may happen where the Promoter is required to demonstrate it has awarded any advertised prizes.

 

11. There is no cash or other alternative to the prize in whole or in part. Prize is not transferrable. The Promoter reserves the right to reclaim the prize if it is transferred.

 

12. The Promoter is not responsible for any third-party acts or omissions.

 

13. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend this promotion due to events or circumstances arising beyond its control.

 

14. The decision of the promoter in all matters is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

15. All taxes (including without limitation national & local taxes) in connection with any prize & the reporting consequence thereof, are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.

 

16. These rules and any dispute or difference arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. The Promoter and each entrant irrevocably agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England over any claim or matter arising under or in connection with these rules or the legal relationships established by this agreement.

 

17. It is the responsibility of the participant to provide their correct, up-to-date details when entering the promotion and/or confirming acceptance of the prize in order for their prize to be processed. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for winners failing to supply accurate information which affects prize acceptance or delivery of their prize.

 

18. The promotion does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation of the products or services being offered as prizes.

 

19. All conditions, warranties and representations expressed or implied by law or otherwise in connection with the prizes are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law and the Promoter shall be under no liability whatsoever or however in connection with any loss, damage or injury suffered as a direct result of the provision of the prizes. Promoter makes no attempt to exclude or limit its liability for death or personal injury arising as a result of its negligence. Prizes are manufactured and supplied by Birra Moretti and Crosta Mollica.
